MISSION STATEMENT
Global Works strives to provide young adults with rewarding service, language learning, and adventure travel programs, which foster personal growth and promote social and cultural awareness for the participant and the communities involved.
THE GLOBAL WORKS EXPERIENCE
Since 1990, Global Works has been providing exceptional Community Service, Cultural Exchange, Adventure Travel, and Language Learning Programs for teens and young adults. Much more than a vacation, Global Works international trips are the impetus and “bridge” for meaningful cultural exchange. Global Works has a well-deserved reputation (our record speaks for itself) as one of the most professional and well organized of the service travel operations. We have a responsibility to both parents and participants to make sure our trips are well planned and organized and led by mature, experienced staff. We know that caring about each family and their child is where it all begins and ends.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Global Works is a service company first and a travel company second. We partner with local communities and organizations to complete meaningful, well-organized and thoughtful service work. Our philosophy is to work with a village, not for a village. In partnership with community members, we hand select meaningful projects to provide a grassroots experience that will make an authentic impact.
CULTURAL EXCHANGE
Journeying to a small village in-country, we immerse ourselves in each of the local cultures. Living, working, and playing alongside our village friends, we expand our experience and vision of the world as we share in community activities and gain a deeper understanding of each other’s lives, traditions, arts, and customs. Global Works trips give you the opportunity to experience the language, spirit, and kindness of the people.
ADVENTURE TRAVEL
A well-rounded journey is made extraordinary by its adventures! It is difficult to capture in words or pictures the magical feeling that overcomes one when standing among the ancient ruins of Machu Picchu, or the feeling of confidence one has after rafting the Rio Sarapiqui, or the pure sense of awe of the natural world when snorkeling in the Caribbean. Global Works understands that traveling isn’t about the souvenirs and postcards, rather it’s about what you give and gain from your heart and mind.
