White water rafting on the Río Sarapiquí
Day 3
Bus ride to Research Station in Monteverde Cloud Forest | Hike into Station | Greeting/ Slide show by Ranger | Night Hike by experienced Guide, observe sloths, monkeys, snakes, birds, and more
Day 4
Service projects; reforestation, trail and station maintenance | Afternoon swim in volcanic lake and/ or hike to waterfall
Day 5
Hike out to meet Bus | Meet Homestay community and families | Tour of Town | Evening activity with Community

Service Projects | Excursion to hot springs of Volcan Arenal or the Zip Line of Monteverde

- Work on small construction and erosion prevention projects with the Monteverde Conservation League
- Help construct community facilities in the Pacific Region
- Present English Language lessons to local community members
- Participate in Playa Hermosa Turtle Conservation Project

- Experience a homestay in a small, rural village
- Practice your Spanish with Costa Rican students
- Teach English to community members
Adventure and Cultural Activities
- Raft on Costa Rica’s best white water
