Sample itinerary—these will vary for each school group depending on length of trip, desired activities and budget.
Day 1
Arrive in Fiji, travel to local hotel for orientation and rest
Day 2
Orientation continues with time for the beach and swimming
Day 3
Travel by bus to coastal or mountain community for community stay and introductory Sevu Sevu ceremony
Day 4
Projects begin on community center and elementary school
Day 5
Projects continue with an evening of cultural music and dance
Day 6
Projects and an afternoon of crafts and local art
Day 7
Community day with games and variety of activity
Day 8
Projects continue
Day 9
Finish projects and prepare for final celebration
Day 10
Depart community and travel by Ferry to small island resort
Day 11
Snorkeling above fabulous coral reefs/ Scuba option
Day 12
More beach time, windsurfing, and volleyball and an evening bonfire on the beach
Day 13
Depart beach stay for hotel near the airport and preparation for departure
