Service Projects
- Rebuild homes in the Maya village of Yaxuna
- Pour a concrete floor for a Mexican family home
- Assist local elementary school teachers
- Distribute dispensas, care packages of food and toiletries, to low-income elders
Language Immersion
- Communicate in Spanish with leaders (they’ll work with you according to your level of Spanish!)
- Sleep in hand-woven Mayan hammocks
- Work and interact with Maya families on home repair
- Experience a homestay in the "yellow city" of Izamal
- Learn salsa and traditional Yucatecan dances
Adventure and Cultural Activities
- Visit the Maya ruins of Uxmal and Chichén ítza
- Swim in a cenote, an underground pool
- Stay in a Hacienda from the 17th Century
- Snorkel and swim at the beaches of Tulum
