Let Everyone Know!
Make announcements in class, in the morning announcements, in the school newsletter, and on the school website. Put signs and our posters, with dates for meetings and deadlines, in the hallways or at school sponsored events. Talk to other teachers, get an excited parent involved, and use the resources at your school to be creative.
Hold Informational Meetings!
Have a meeting during lunch or after school for students. Then have a meeting in the evening for parents. We will be sending a presentation and cool photos that provide lots of information about our trips. Whenever possible we will do a presentation at your school. At the informational meeting, you will give parents student packets with all the necessary forms. It may be a good idea to have everyone that is interested sign in a sheet with their phone number and email address. That way you if you do not hear from them you can check back with them or send them reminders about deadlines.
Optional Fundraising.
Now that you have a group together, create a plan for fundraising and get students involved. Parent volunteers can also be very helpful. There are lots of ways to fundraise- organize bake sales, car washes, or you can work with an outside organization and sell products like cookie dough, candles, among others. There are plenty of resources on the web or you can check out http://www.school-fundraisers.com to sell products. Talk to other teachers at your school and administrators and see what has worked well in the past.

Let us know how you are doing and how we can help. We want to work together and make this trip happen!
Stay Involved!
Encourage students to spread the word, invite their friends, and keep handing out information. Feel free to refer parents and students who may have missed the meeting to us. Your positive energy and attitude can have a big affect!
Communicate!
Make sure students are aware of and do not forget about application, deposit, and other deadlines. Encourage students to look up information on a place and continue to get them excited for the trip.
