We recognize the confidence that it takes for parents to entrust their children to us. While on a journey, we treat each student with as much care as if they were our own. With Global Works, you are assured:
Communication
We pride ourselves in providing professional and friendly communication with students and parents throughout their Global Works experience. Prior you child’s departure, we provide you with all the important travel and contact information you need to know. During the program, students are encouraged to call home and given many opportunities to do so by the Global Works staff. Furthermore, a Global Works home office representative is on call 24/7 throughout the summer to respond to any urgent needs or requests.
Safety
The most important part of any Global Works Program is the safety and well-being of each student. Our leaders have significant experience in their fields of expertise and the destination country. Each leader is certified in First Aid and CPR. Moreover, careful attention is paid to dietary and medical needs. Global Works designs Emergency Action Plans for every destination we travel to. With in-country directors and three adult leaders per group, our staff ensures that students’ receive prompt and proper care. Specific rules and regulations are in place to ensure the protection of each student. Parents and students' are required to agree to and sign these rules and regulations prior to departure.
Experience
At Global Works, we have been running safe and quality trips for 17 years. Our staff is highly qualified and carefully chosen to work with your sons and daughters. Our leaders are chosen for: experience working with students, flexibility, organization, language skills, a sense of humor, and responsibility. The average age of our leaders is 30 and we have complete confidence that they will do everything in their power to assure a safe and meaningful journey for your children.
Educational Value & Personal Growth
Global Works programs offer an amazing educational value for participants. Students complete meaningful service work, improve second language skills, experience how people live in another part of the world, gain appreciation for what they have at home, make lifelong friendships, and have a wonderful time doing so!
