SUMMER COMMUNITY SERVICE TRAVEL PROGRAMS

Peru is a South American gem that is sure to enhance any traveler’s experience.  Machu Picchu, one of the new 7 wonders of the world, is just the tip of the iceberg in country that boasts 5,000 years of recorded history.   Fascinating history is still within reach as we take participants beyond the ordinary tourist trail and into the homes of Peruvian families, and on to to the floating villages of  the Uros people on iconic Lake Titicaca.  You will make a difference through meaningful service projects and connecting with local people through authentic cultural exchange.   The colors, landscapes, and friendly people will populate your photography, and the adventure will enligten and enrich your view of the world.

Peru soffer its visitors so much in the way of natural, cultural and recreational activities. To truly enjoy this magical nation, Global Works has designed exceptional summer community service and language learning programs that work closely with the local people and combine cultural exchange, impactful community service and adventure travel.

Testimonials

This was the summer of a lifetime and I can't imagine anyone this program would not appeal to!

Amanda Levine, Puerto Rico Participant

Wonderful adventure! I learned to appreciate and enjoy a foreign culture while traveling on my own. I enjoyed speaking Spanish in a Spanish-speaking country -- the people appreciate an American who tries to speak their language.
