Prospect Hill Academy Puerto Rico

Today we arrived to Puerto Rico around 10:30am and arrived at the Big Yellow House at 12:00pm. Overall, today was a  fun time for everyone as we got a chance to settle down and relax at the beach. We are all looking  forward to tomorrow as we are going to souvenir shopping and touring San Juan!

Today was a very chill day! We spent the morning and early afternoon touring the City of Old San Juan, trying Puerto Rican food and buying souvenirs! We then returned back to the Big Yellow House where some of us went to the beach and others relaxed at the house. We then concluded the evening with dinner and a documentary on Puerto Rico.

June 15, woke UP ready to head to Antonio’s house, to help with construction. It felt good to help out people in need. It was hard work, and a lot of sweat and teamwork, but we were glad we were able to make a difference in the community.

Today we finished up our construction of the foundation of the house. We actually broke a record for fastest workers in 8 years. To celebrate, we had a mini celebration with all the people we worked with. It was a very memorable day.
