Camila Bencosme

Camilla graduated College, majoring in biology with a focus on pre-med. Camila has traveled within the states like California, Arizona, Florida and etc.. Outside of the United states she has traveled multiple times to the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Spain. During her free time, Camila spends her time at the gym or exploring New York. She loves traveling and having new adventures! She’s very excited to meet the students and share her pre-med experiences from college.

What’s your favorite part about leading trips?
Meeting the students and learning about new cultures!

What is something you can’t live without while you are traveling?
When traveling I need to always bring my camera. I think its so important to make and capture new memories.

Tell us about a favorite memory from a trip you have taken
One of my favorite memories was from my trip to Spain, when I met a local man who made toy planes, cars, and boats out of cans!

Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
My favorite place I have travelled to is Spain. I thought it was very different from Dominican Republic and United States.

What do you like to do in your free time?
I love going to the gym and trying to food spots in NYC!

English and Spanish

If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
To be open minded and try to learn as much as they can. Going to a new country is a beautiful experience.
