What’s your favorite part about leading trips?
My favorite part of leading trips is forming special relationships with special people! Students, community members, co-leaders, and even the folks at the home office prove to be some of the best people in the world year after year working with Global Works.
What’s something you can’t live without while you are traveling?
A little speaker for some ZUMBA!
Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
Uff, hard question. A recent favorite of mine is Mexico City- there is so much to do, and you can’t beat the food!
Fun fact, special talent, or favorite memory
I am currently living and teaching in Antigua, Guatemala and loving it!
What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to cook. Traveling with Global Works has given me the wonderful opportunity to experience even more home stays and learn more about home-style cuisine from different cultures!
What languages do you speak?
English, Spanish, and my favorite… eSpanglish.
If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Even the worst travel experiences make you a better person. Look forward to every step and activlely expand your ideas of what is normal.
