What’s your favorite part about leading trips?
Seeing students who were nervous about aspects of the trip at the beginning, so jazzed about those same aspects by the end!

What’s something you can’t live without while you are traveling?
Chaco sandals

Tell us about a favorite memory from a trip you have taken
Too many to choose from, but they almost all involve jumping into water. The two that come to mind immediately are jumping off a boat in Croatia and swimming next to glaciers in Alaska.

Fun fact, special talent, or favorite memory
I’m an expert at both making and eating ice cream

What do you like to do in your free time?
Hike, kayak, do yoga, mostly anything I can do that keeps me moving and outside

What languages do you speak?
English, Spanish, a little bit of Mandarin

If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Trust that it will work out!

I first traveled to Costa Rica on a similar trip when I was in 8th grade. Now I get to see the country again from the leader’s perspective!
