Jancarlos Almonte

Jancarlos loves leading Global works programs! When he is not leading trips, he is constantly learning by reading the news/books and looking at the stock market. His background in service has allowed him to build strong bonds with the people his mentored. He enjoys physical activities one of his many hobbies is basketball. He is most excited to lead a group of kids and guide them through a journey of full immersion. “Life isn’t about finding yourself, but creating the best version.” He is a social butterfly!

Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
One of my favorite places I have traveled is to the Bahamas. The culture is unique and very inclusive.

Fun fact, special talent, or favorite memory
I tried out for the lacrosse team, and made the team. I learned how to play the sport while on the team.

What do you like to do in your free time?
On my free time I enjoy listening to music, playing basketball, riding bike, reading.

English and Spanish

If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Don’t be afraid to get out of your comfort zone.
