2022

What’s your favorite part about leading trips?
Sharing stories and laughs with a diverse group of people and supporting people in discovering new interests and learning new things

What’s something you can’t live without while you are traveling?
A map!

Tell us about a favorite memory from a trip you have taken
Wow there are SO many! Taking a cooking class on a farm outside Chiang Mai, Thailand was definitely a highlight! Or walking amongst the colorful homes and street art in Cartagena, Colombia with a batido (smoothie) in hand!

Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
That’s a very tough question, each place has its own charm!

Fun fact, special talent, or favorite memory
I used to play the alto sax and piano, so one of my favorite things to do when in a new city is to explore the local and live jazz scene

What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to go bouldering, longboarding, play soccer, frisbee, ping pong, go for a hike or bike ride. Relaxing in a park to read a book and wandering around the city is really enjoyable too

What languages do you speak?
French, English and Spanish fluently, Italian decently, Dutch and Portuguese very basically

If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Trust your gut and take things at your own pace, there’s no rush to see and do as many things as possible. Going out of your comfort zone is important but if your gut is telling you otherwise, listen!

Tell us why you are excited for this year’s trip!
I am so excited to go on a new adventure and support kids on their journeys!
