What’s your favorite part about leading trips?
I am most excited about connecting with participants and leading them through new cultural experiences.

A couple of paperback books and a notebook to record ideas, experiences, and observations.

Tell us about a favorite memory from a trip you have taken
Riding in the back of a livestock/food truck for 4 hours up a mountain outside of Cusco, Peru. Sometimes you have to sacrifice comfort in the name of a good interview!

Cusco, Peru and the surrounding Sacred Valley

Fun fact, special talent, or favorite memory
Bubble Beam (ask!)

What do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy being outdoors, especially swimming in the ocean and hiking. I also love to cook new pasta dishes and practice yoga.

What languages do you speak?
English and Spanish, plus a little bit of Kichwa!

If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Try something new! A food, an activity, a dancing style. Although it’s important to keep your wits about you, do not shy away from the unknown simply because of nerves.

Tell us why you are excited for this year’s trip!
Peruvian cuisine is world-famous for a reason! La comida.
