A good book!

Tell us about a favorite memory from a trip you have taken
On 2017 Spain trip, we spent our first night outside of the city at a small guest house in Sebúlcor. After a delicious home cooked meal, we spent a few hours around the table playing games, telling riddles, and hanging out. This was the night our group really came together.

Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
Tough questions but Vietnam was a really incredible experience.

Fun fact, special talent, or favorite memory
I sang in an a cappella group in college.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Lately, I’ve been learning to make my own kombucha and doing some rock climbing.

What languages do you speak?
English and Spanish fluently. I also speak a bit of French and just picked up some phrases in Arabic!

If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Just to be open to new things and be excited to experience something different from what you know.

Tell us why you are excited for this year’s trip!
I’m so excited to be going back to Spain! It’s an amazing country with a rich history and AMAZING FOOD. We work and stay with some amazing communities during the trip and I can’t wait to share this experience with a fresh batch of Global Works students!
