Javier Diaz Venegas

Javier studied Sustainable Tourism Business Management. After finishing his degree, he returned to his hometown of Cedral, Costa Rica to develop the tourism industry there. Cedral is currently developing a new hiking route within the Chirripó National Park to help bring more national and international visitors to theis beautiful area of Costa Rica. Javier likes music because his father and many of his uncles play the guitar – Javier can play the guitar, the ukulele, and the bass (his favorite!). Javier also likes photography, especially of wildlife and natural landscapes. He had the opportunity to do volunteer work for SINAC, which is the public institution of Costa Rica that is in charge of the administration and care of the Conservation Areas in Costa Rica. Javier works as an event photographer on some weekends. He is so excited to be a part of the Global Works team!
