Diego Diaz

Diego was raised in California, where he grew up exploring the outdoors through rock climbing, bike touring, and surfing hidden point breaks along the coast. He is currently pursuing graduate studies in public policy while also working on creative projects in media and storytelling. After getting the opportunity to study abroad in Spain, he immersed himself in the language and culture, while also traveling to 14 different countries across Europe. These experiences sparked his passion for cultural exchange and experiential learning, and ultimately led him to begin working with Global Works.
In his free time, he enjoys documenting his travels through film photography and short videos, as well as continuing to explore the outdoors whenever he can. As a Trip Leader, he is especially excited to build meaningful connections with students, help them step outside their comfort zones, and share in the experience of discovering new places together!
