Kat Lane

Kat began with Global Works in 2023, but she has been guiding 70 day gap year programs with another company for the last 2 years. She is super excited to join the Global Works team and to spend the summer in Costa Rica! Kat has always been passionate about the outdoors and showing students the joys of ethical travel. After studying anthropology and geography in college, she knew she wanted to travel in a meaningful way, and experiential education has been a dream career. Kat truly believes in the transformative power of cultural immersion and she can’t wait to learn alongside the students this summer. When she isn’t guiding, she loves to play music, sing, write, read, cook food for her friends, and salsa dance!
