Luke Southall

Luke grew up exploring the Pacific Northwest – backpacking, skiing on Mt. Hood, and swimming in the Columbia River Gorge. He studied Advertising and Public Relations at the University of Oregon, and puts his skills to work leading trips and creating content for Global Works!

Luke’s travels have taken him trekking around Mount Everest, surfing with kangaroos in Australia, and even a remote Indonesian island where he lived out his Survivor dreams. He’s also led multi-week backpacking trips where he became a Michelin star (worthy) freeze dried food chef.

Back in Oregon, he swims competitively and owns a dedicated puzzling table. As a trip leader, Luke brings the energy with group games, card tricks, and handstand contests.
