Thomas was raised in New Jersey with a passion for the outdoors and languages. He has both a B.A. in International Relations and a Master’s in the Studies of Law from the University of Southern California. He has experience as an English language instructor, Olympic volunteer, and fundraising for NGOs. He has conducted environmental policy research across the globe, and spent the better part of the past year in rural Peru with the U.S. government’s Boren Scholarship. Thomas speaks 5 languages including English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Quechua. He is also an avid distance runner, hiker, and kayaker. With a love for travel and immersive learning opportunities, Thomas is looking forward to helping students further their Spanish language skills, increasing their cultural knowledge of the region, and engaging in sustainable living projects this Summer.
