HOW TO SIGN UP

To be a participant on a Global Works program, we must receive a completed application along with a deposit and $95 application fee

ADULT APPLICATION– For adult participants over 18 years of age and chaperones

STANDARD APPLICATION– for all participants under 18 years of age on our Summer Service Adventures and Custom Group Travel programs

TUITION BALANCE

Tuition due dates and amounts depend on the program you are applying for. Global Works accepts checks, eChecks, and credit/ debit cards for the tuition balance. A non-refundable $30 processing fee will be charged for any check returned to us by the drawer’s bank. Mail check or money orders to: Global Works/ 2575 N. Franklin Ave/ Louisville, CO 80027.

THE TUITION INCLUDES:

• Accommodation: Accommodations vary per trip and for each itinerary
• Airport transfers and all transportation between cities in the destination
• Local private transportation to all scheduled itinerary activities
• Meals: Three balanced meals daily
• All excursions, led by professional local guides per program description
• Activities and entrance fees specified on scheduled itinerary
• Full-time services of a professional Global Works group leader
• All optional and non-optional gratuities, excepting Global Works leader

THE TUITION DOES NOT INCLUDE:

• Round Trip airfare
• Passport and visa fees (non U.S. citizens must secure any necessary visas)
• Meals in airports prior to and following trip
• Baggage fees, airport departure taxes, or any expenses related to flight delays/cancellations
• Transportation to and from US departure airport
• Excursions and activities not included on the itinerary
• Program Cancellation & Interruption Protection Plan (PIP) for tuition less deposit protection (optional)
• Flight or travel insurance (Global Works recommends purchase of flight insurance from an outside source)
• AXIS Emergency Medical Travel Insurance and 24-hour emergency service (Included for Custom Group Travel)

SUMMER SERVICE ADVENTURES FOR HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS: SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS, CANCELATION, AND REFUNDS

DEPOSITS AND APPLICATION FEE
To be a participant on a Global Works program, we must receive a completed application along with a $700 deposit and $95 application fee. Deposits are fully refundable until December 31st. After December 31st, deposits are fully refundable for 7 days following enrollment and non-refundable thereafter. The application fee is non-refundable.

CREDITS
Credits from a previous cancelled program may be easily applied towards the deposit or tuition balance. Credits are non-transferable to cash refunds.

TUITION DUE DATES

  • Tuition balance is due January 31st, 2025 for 2025 Summer Service Adventure programs
  • For students who enroll after January 31st, the tuition due date is indicated on the invoice email. Payment plans are available.
  • If registration occurs within 30 days of departure, the tuition balance is due upon enrollment.

MONTHLY INSTALLMENTS: Students who enroll before March 1st, may choose to pay over three equal monthly installments. If you need longer to make payments, individual payment plans are possible. Contact Global Works for more information about individual payment plans.

CANCELLATION AND TUITION REFUNDS

Global Works is not required to provide any refund for late arrival, early withdrawal, or dismissal with cause.

  • $700 Deposits are non refundable after December 31st.
  • For cancellations within 75 days prior to program start date through conclusion of the program, tuition is non-refundable, including but not limited to: physical or mental illness or injury, voluntary departure, personal emergencies, and participant dismissal.
  • Cancellations made more than 75 days prior to departure result in a 50% tuition less deposit refund.
  • If a program is cancelled due to lack of enrollment, participant/parent may elect to change programs (if available) or receive a full refund (including deposit). Global Works is not responsible for any other costs, airfare, and incidental expenses incurred by a participant/parent preparing for a cancelled trip.
  • Global Works offers a Program Interruption and Protection plan which covers withdrawal for health reasons and family emergencies. Details are available in your login page following registration.

CUSTOM GROUP TRAVEL PROGRAMS: SCHEDULE OF PAYMENTS, CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

DEPOSITS
To be a participant on a Global Works program, we must receive a completed application along with a $400 deposit and $95 application fee. Deposits are fully refundable for 15 days following your program’s application deadline and non-refundable thereafter.

TUITION DUE DATES

  • Tuition balance is due no later than 60 days prior to program start date or according to your trip agreement and/or payment plan.
  • If registration occurs within 60 days of departure, the balance is due within 2 weeks.
  • If registration occurs within 30 days of departure, the tuition balance is due immediately.

CANCELLATION AND TUITION REFUNDS

Global Works is not required to provide any refund for late arrival, early withdrawal, or dismissal with cause.

  • For cancellations within 75 days prior to program start date through conclusion of the program, tuition is non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to: physical or mental illness or injury, voluntary departure, personal emergencies, and participant dismissal.
  • Cancellations made more than 75 days prior to departure result in a 50% tuition less deposit refund.
  • If a program is cancelled due to lack of enrollment, participant/parent may elect to change programs (if available) or receive a full refund (including deposit). Global Works is not responsible for any other costs, airfare, and incidental expenses incurred by a participant/parent preparing for a cancelled trip.
  • Global Works reserves the right to cancel where travel to a destination has been deemed unsafe. Such determinations are made at the sole discretion of Global Works. When a program is canceled for safety concerns including, but not limited to, natural disasters, political unrest, or infectious disease outbreaks, tuition less deposit is refundable and program deposits and application fees may be applied as a lifetime credit or transferred to a friend or family member for future travel.
  • Global Works offers a Program Interruption and Protection plan which covers withdrawal for health reasons and family emergencies. Details available in your login page following registration.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

It is each participant’s responsibility to investigate and adhere to your destination entry requirements.

Those requirements may include the following:

  • Valid passport
  • Visas
  • Proof of a COVID Vaccine and negative COVID-19 test result within a specified time prior to departure may be required to enter a destination.

ALTERNATIVE TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS FEE

I understand that participants who arrive or depart outside of a group’s designated travel window are subject to an Alternative Travel Arrangements Fee each way. This fee applies to both students and chaperones and will be invoiced accordingly.

AIRFARE

Global Works does not include airfare in the tuition. In cases where Global Works helps to facilitate airline travel, Global Works is not responsible for cancellations, delays, lost baggage, or any airline related expenses.

INSURANCE

Participants are required to have emergency evacuation and medical coverage while on the program. Global Works offers a policy through AXIS. AXIS Medical and Evacuation Insurance details are provided on the group’s Login Page for a complete explanation of coverage. Additional or alternative coverage may be purchased by participants at their own expense. Global Works does not offer flight or travel insurance to cover flight delay, flight cancellation, or airport related expenses.

ITINERARY CHANGES

Global Works reserves the right to make changes in the itinerary when deemed necessary for safety and logistics.

HEALTH & SAFETY

All participants must submit a completed Health History and a Physician’s Exam signed by a licensed physician.

LOSS OF POSSESSION

Global Works does not cover the personal property and equipment of participants; parents should check with their own insurance policy to insure that their child’s personal property and equipment is covered against loss, theft, or damage.

LIABILITY AND ASSUMPTION OF RISKS

All participants are required to sign our ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND ASSUMPTION OF RISKS; RELEASE AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT as part of the application process.
