Our Background

Wonderfolk (formerly Global Works Community Fund) is a volunteer driven, 501(c)3 organization founded in 2011 to provide opportunities for the empowerment of youth to spark social change through service learning, travel, and ongoing community development projects. 

With the overarching goal of facilitating social change in their partner communities at home and worldwide, Wonderfolk provides scholarships to cover the financial obligation so students ages 13-18 have the opportunity to participate in international travel programs focused on sustainable service projects while discovering their own strengths and making personal connections. Our objective is to support existing projects with our partner communities and organizations through targeted funding and targeted action.
