Laura Lavinder

Laura is originally from East Tennessee and graduated from FIU in Miami, Florida, where she earned a degree in Sustainability and the Environment with a focus on tourism and agriculture. Since then, she has had the opportunity to lead trips for students from all over the world in different capacities, whether it be backcountry camping in the Tetons or touring around New York City. She is super excited for her first summer working with Global Works. Her favorite thing about leading trips is seeing students learn, grow, and create amazing memories in dream locations. When Laura isn’t leading trips, you can find her spending time outside, exploring new places and making connections with people. She has a ton of interests and hobbies, some of which include painting, listening to music and fangirling, playing pickleball, and scrapbooking.
