What’s your favorite part about leading trips?
Seeing students’ reactions to new scenery, new people, and new & exciting experiences! In the course of a couple of weeks, you can see students learning from one another, growing in confidence, and creating long-lasting bonds

What is something you can’t live without while you are traveling?
I’ve got to have my most comfy, most reliable, and probably least attractive pair of walking shoes!

Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
Slovakia! I had no expectations when planning my 10 day vacation, so I was so happy to find incredible mountains, delicious (and cheap!) food, and some of the nicest people I have ever met.

Fun fact, special talent, or favorite memory
I was able to travel to 30 countries before my 30th birthday!

What do you like to do in your free time?
I am an avid volleyball player! So in my free time I try to find a court indoors, on the grass, or in the sand!

What languages do you speak?
English, Spanish, a bit of Catalan, and broken German!

If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Go into every trip with open eyes, an open-mind, and an open heart. Welcome the unknown!

Tell us why you are excited for this year’s trip!
I am excited to share this travel experience with a new group of people after a year of seeing only a handful of family members and friends! I can’t wait to get back to such a beautiful place and see connections between people and cultures start to be made again!
