Details & Itinerary


Days 1 – 3: Malaga Arrival & Sevilla Orientation
  • Group arrival in Malaga and transfer to Sevilla
  • Orientation of Spanish culture and language through historical visits and language activities
  • Visit the famously beautiful Alcazar, the Gothic Cathedral, and the Jewish Quarter
  • Learn about the history of these historic wonders while exploring the art and architecture within and without
Days 4 – 7: Granada Community Stay & Service Projects
  • Transfer by bus to the Fundación Escuela de Solidaridad (FES), just outside the city of Grenada
  • Spend the next days working alongside members of the non profit organization, offering assistance to single parent-families and immigrant families in need
  • Our community and educational projects may include: working in the preschool, teaching English, preparing meals, gardening, building greenhouses, and making candles to sell at community fundraisers
  • Visit the beautiful Alhambra, called “paradise on earth” by the rulers who lived at this palace in the 13th century
  • Put on your dancing shoes for a flamenco lesson and soak in the Andalusian culture
Day 8: Cordoba
  • Our travels culminate in Cordoba, where we take a day trip to tour and visit the Great Mosque, known as the the Mezquita
  • Explore this astoundingly beautiful structure which is representative of the confluence of Arabic, Christian, and Jewish cultures in the region.
  • Enjoy a classic Andalusian lunch and have time to explore the architectural wonders of Cordoba by foot
Days 9 – 10: Malaga & Departure
  • Transfer back down to the Mediterranean and the city of Málaga
  • Enjoy a final opportunity for souvenir shopping, a stroll by the sea, and a final dinner with live music, great food, and laughter
  • The next morning we depart for the airport to begin our journey home
