What’s your favorite part about leading trips?
Global Works is a win- win- win! Youth have an eye opening, culturally rich adventure packed travel experience. Global Works can make a big difference to small communities, schools, nonprofits and small family businesses through service projects and travel business. Plus, I have an awesome job and can’t wait to meet you on our upcoming adventure together!

What’s something you can’t live without while you are traveling?
Sweet connections with members of the communities I visit, oh and maybe my perfected clothing layering system.

Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
Where ever I find myself

Fun fact, special talent, or favorite memory
When I am not leading Global Works trips, I am the Executive Director and Founder of an educational nonprofit called Limitless Horizons Ixil (www.limitlesshorizonsixil.org)which supports a Youth Development Scholarship Program, Community library, and Women’s artisan program in very rural indigenous Guatemala.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Travel, Salsa dance, and staying active.

What languages do you speak?
English, Spanish and a tiny bit of “Ixil” indigenous language from Guatemala.

If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Make a difference while you travel, invest your travel dollars to support communities, family businesses, and nonprofits. Have an open mind, be flexible, be outgoing and embrace the extraordinary.
