Luke Southall
Luke grew up backpacking the PNW, powder-skiing on Mt. Hood, and sunset swimming in the Columbia River Gorge. He attended at the University of Oregon graduating with a B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations. His travels have taken him on a 120-mile trek around Mt. Everest, an ongoing salsa search (both kinds), and even a remote Indonesian island where he lived out his Survivor dreams. Within the US, he has led multi-week high school backpacking trips throughout Wyoming, Idaho, and California, and has the Chaco tan line to show for it. This is his fourth time in Costa Rica after visiting for the first time as a student! He is currently based in Oregon, where he swims competitively, and is the proud owner of a puzzling table. As a trip leader, he loves DIY obstacle courses, playlist making, and epic handstand showdowns.
