Maren Scribner
Maren Scribner is an international educator and seasoned program instructor originally from Portland, Oregon. When Maren was 17, she had her first solo international experience that significantly shaped her life, as she discovered her love for ethical travel and how to pursue sustainable community projects. Throughout getting her B.A. in Education and Spanish, Maren studied abroad in Argentina and then independently backpacked throughout the west of Argentina, central Chile and Peru. Since graduating from the University of Oregon, Maren has served with the Peace Corps, worked as a Resource Access Specialist in Portland, Au-paired in Spain, and taught 2nd grade in Costa Rica. Most recently, Maren directed community-driven projects with youth throughout Panama and now leads educational school programs throughout the US and Latin America. When Maren is not leading programs, she spends her time visiting family, doing yoga and volunteering along the US/Mexico border.
