Nia Slater-Bookhart

Nia has led 4 programs for Global Works! She is excited to connect and learn from the all the participants she meets! After completing her Masters in Teaching in 2020 at Clark University, she taught High School history courses (World, U.S. and African-American) in Boston and Worcester, MA. She now works with various community organizations with a focus on collective community healing and diversity efforts through Reiki, Mindfulness, and Peace organizing to build towards an equitable and inclusive world. Born and Raised in the Sunny Tampa, FL, she enjoys soaking in the sun at a beach along with exploring nature and cultures from all over the world.
