What’s your favorite part about leading trips?
My favorite part about leading trips is seeing participants gain confidence in using Spanish and making connections with community members.

What’s something you can’t live without while you are traveling?
A pair of running or hiking shoes. I love to get to know a place running!

Tell us about a favorite memory from a trip you have taken
In college I traveled in Morocco for a week and stayed with a homestay family in Rabat. They were amazing and I learned so much during that experience!

Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
Spain!

Fun fact, special talent, or favorite memory
I lived in Indonesia, on the island of Papua for two years when I was in middle school.

What do you like to do in your free time?
Anything active, running, hiking, biking… or looking at flights online and scheming my next trip!

What languages do you speak?
English and Spanish

If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Come with an open mind and adventurous spirit!

I love returning to familiar places and seeing them through new eyes as Global Works participants experience them through new eyes. I always learn something new every time!
