Watching students challenge themselves and forge new connections with amazing people from across the world!
What’s something you can’t live without while you are traveling?
Wherever I go I need to be able to write, so I never travel without my notebook and a pen!
Tell us about a favorite memory from a trip you have taken
Hiking through the jungle of the Darien Gap mud caked, sweaty and followed by monkeys, we and made it to the top of a huge hill with the most amazing view overlooking beaches in Colombia on one side and Panama on the other!
Where is your favorite place you have traveled to?
Hands down, Istanbul, Turkey!

Fun fact, I was an elf this past winter on the Polar Express!
What do you like to do in your free time?
Lately I’ve been hiking lots of waterfalls, getting out of the city, and eating lots of mangos.
What languages do you speak?
English, French, and Spanish
If you had to give one piece of advice or words of encouragement to someone on their first travel experience, what would it be?
Tread lightly, take the time to really get to know the communities that you’re visiting- their unique histories, joys and struggles! Also, you can’t know unless you try it! Whether it be speaking French or trying a strange new food (yum frog legs), dive in!
